ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to give appointment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, based on the application dated 31.01.2013, this writ petition has been filed. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.The case of the petitioner is that her husband who was working as a Driver in the office of the second respondent, passed away on 13.04.2012, while in service. Seeking compassionate appointment, the petitioner preferred an application dated 31.01.2013 to the respondents. Since there was no response, the petitioner, again made a representation dated 22.11.2018 and the same is also pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner

would be considered on merits.

5.In view of the above submission, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2018, seeking appointment on compassionate ground and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
