This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuance of a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai to expedite the proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.12657 of 2014 in M.C.No.18 of 2013 and conclude the same.

2.Having regard to the facts narrated in this petition and the petition filed before the lower Court is only for a direction to pay the maintenance, as directed by the lower Court earlier. Hence, this Court is inclined to pass the following directions: "The learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai, is directed to expedite the proceedings in Crl.M.P.No.12657 of 2014 in M.C.No.18 of 2013 and dispose of the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order". 3.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
