This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, based on her petition dated 13.08.2016. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to her life and limb based on her petition dated 13.08.2016. Two years have lapsed by now and as on date no ground has been made to state that even today the threat persists. This Court is of the opinion that there may not be any necessity to grant the prayer sought for by the petitioner by efflux of time.
3.In view of the same, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
