ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st and 2nd Respondents to provide adequate protection to the Petitioner and others for offering prayers in the Sri Senbaga Vinayagar Temple, Sri Durgai Amman Temple, Sri Karuppasamy, Temple and Sri Mariyamman Temple at M.Kumarasakkanapuram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the 3rd respondent had already filed W.P.(MD No.6886/2021 before this Court challenging the restrained order passed by the Tahsildar and this Court, vide order dated 31.03.2021, granted interim stay and issued a direction to the respondents to reopen the 2/4

temple and allow the villagers pending disposal of the writ petition. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
