PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records to pertaining the impugned order through proceedings in Thi3/3425/2020 dated 10.01.2023 on the file of respondent No.3 and further directing the respondents to lay the road in S.No.360/14 and S.No. 360/15 at Chinnamalaikundru Village, Ettaiyapuram Taluk, Thoothukudi District as to facilitate the Villagers to approach the Village main road. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ on hand has been instituted to quash the impugned order, dated 10.01.2023 on the file of the third respondent and further directing the respondents to lay the road in S.No.360/14 and S.No. 360/15 at Chinnamalaikundru Village, Ettaiyapuram Taluk, Thoothukudi District, so as to facilitate the Villagers to approach the Village main road. 2/5

2.The relief as such sought for in the writ proceedings cannot be considered by this Court in exercise of the powers of the judicial review. Such issues are to be resolved by the competent authorities by affording an opportunity to the people of that locality and in accordance with law. If any inconvenience still exits to the people of that locality, they are at liberty to approach the District Collector, Thoothukudi District for appropriate remedy and the District Collector, Thoothukudi District is also directed to look into the grievance of the people of that locality. 3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
