ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 & R2 and the learned Government Advocate for R3 & R4. Issuance of notice to R5 is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner was also a participant in the peace committee meeting held on 02.03.2024. One part of the resolution has already been implemented. The temple key was handed over to the petitioner's group. The petitioner's group is directed to return the key by this afternoon so as to enable the conduct of the festival by other group. It is however clarified that the impugned resolution will not be marked as document in the pending suit (O.S.No.6 of 2024 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Kovilpatti). In other words, the suit will be decided independently on its own merits.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 11.03.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No rmi 2/4
