This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R filed in Crime No.70 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.Mr.N.Balakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the defacto complainant is none other than the
brother of the first petitioner and the dispute between them was already settled before the respondent Police. However, subsequently, the second respondent has not withdrawn the complaint. He has further submitted that the third petitioner is working as an Engineer and the fourth petitioner is an M.B.A graduate and due to the pendency of this case, they are not able to go for better employment. So, he prays for a direction to the first respondent to file a final report within a time frame. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent would file a final report within a period of two months. 4.Heard Mr.K.Baalasundharam, learned counsel for the second respondent and perused the records.
5.In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to file a final report in Crime No.70 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
