*********** [Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission and protection for "Chithirai" festival to the temple and subsequent to the festival to conduct Jallikattu, on 06.05.2018 [Sunday] in Mathiyanallur Village, Illuppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, based on his representation dated 16.04.2018 and include village, by name, Mathiyanallur in Government Gazette for Jallikkattu. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The petitioner, who is stated to be the President of Jallikkattu Committee, Mathiyanallur, Illuppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, submitted a representation dated 16.04.2018 to the third respondent seeking permission and protection for "Chithirai" festival and also to conduct Jallikattu, on 06.05.2018, which, till date, remains unanswered.
3. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent.
4. Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 and 3, on instructions, informs that the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2018 will be considered by the third respondent on merits and in accordance with law.
5. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and the outcome of the representation of the petitioner shall be intimated to him. No costs.
