The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2018 within the stipulated period. 2.Heard Ms.Deepamathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.M.S.Johny Basha, learned standing counsel for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been working in the present station at Namagiripettai and due to family circumstances and for health reasons as once in 15 days, treatment has to be taken, he had given application on 05.01.2018 to the respondents for transfer him from Namagiripettai to Tuticorin and if the said application is directed to be considered and an order to that effect is directed to be passed, on merits, within a time frame, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner would be satisfied.

4.I have heard the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation in this regard, who would submit that the said request would be considered on merits, depending upon the vacancy position as well as the administrative exigency. 5.Considering the said submission made by both sides, this writ petition is disposed of with the following direction: "The petitioner's request dated 05.01.2018 with regard to his plea of transfer shall be considered by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law and an order to that effect shall be passed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

6.With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
