O R D E R
The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to give the permission and adequate police protection for distribution of Annathanam and conducting Siruthondar Nadakam schedule to be held on 04.05.2023 and 05.05.2023 in the eve of Chitra Powrnami festival in front of Mahamariyamman Temple at Ammankudi Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 18.01.2023.
2. Mr. B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that Chitra Powrnami festival for the temple, by name, "Mahamariyamman Temple at Ammankudi Village, Thottiyam Taluk, Trichy District, is going to be held on 04.05.2023 and 05.05.2023. Subsequent to the same, in order to conduct a distribution of Annathanam and Siruthondar Nadakam on 04.05.2023 and 05.05.2023, they sought 2/5
permission of the Police by giving a representation dated 18.01.2023. But, the second respondent has not considered the said representation. Since no order was passed, the writ petitioner has come before this Court for the above said relief.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there was some sort of trouble arose between the organizers and other parties. On the above said ground, the representation that was made by the petitioner is kept pending.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders based on the representation given by the writ petitioner dated 18.01.2023 by imposing necessary conditions within a week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. During the course of enquiry, the petitioner as well as the rival groups must be summoned and undertaking must be filed by them that they will not make any law and order issue. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the order, he is at liberty to workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings. 3/5
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
