Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.09.2017 and to disburse the interim compensation amount of a sum of Rs.3,57,623/- with interest and other consequential benefits payable to him towards the acquisition of his land situated in Survey No.528/2A1 of an extent of 1.25 acres in K.Periyapatti (North) Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to disburse the interim compensation amount of a sum of Rs.3,57,623/- with interest and other consequential benefits payable to him towards the acquisition of his land situated in Survey No.528/2A1 of an extent of 1.25 acres in K.Periyapatti (North) Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, by considering his representation dated 11.09.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has produced a

cheque for a sum of Rs.3,57,623/-, which was due to be payable to the petitioner as interim compensation for the acquisition of the land and handed over the same to the learned counsel for the petitioner before this Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner has received the said cheque and endorsed the receipt of the same in the writ petition. Nothing survives for adjudication.

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
