ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cheranmahadevi to expedite the trial in STC No.935 of 2014 within a time limit.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the First petitioner is a Law College Student and due to the pendency of the case before the Court below, he is not in a position to start his practice before the Court of law. Hence, he is before this Court with this petition seeking speedy disposal of the case in STC No.935/2014.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that summons have been issued and for examination of the witnesses 1 to 3, the case is posted on 16.09.2016.

5. Having regard to the submission made and the fact that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

summons have been served upon the witnesses, the Judicial Magistrate, Cheranmahadevi, is directed to conclude the trial within a period of one month from 16.09.2016. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
