This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to grant increment and arrears to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 20.07.2018 . 2.Heard both sides. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, although the punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of four years, awarded to him, was over a long back, he has not been granted further increment. His representation, in that regard, is kept pending without there being any orders passed. Hence, he is before this Court. 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits.

5.Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2018, on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of, on the above terms. No costs.
