ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to appoint some other competent person other than the 2nd respondent to investigate the case in Crime No. 394 of 2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent and further direct the 1st respondent to monitor the investigation

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that post mortem report has been received, which does not disclose any external injury or some other reason for the death.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no information was shared with regard to the post mortem report. He made request to investigate the matter under the direct supervision of the higher authority.

4. Considering the seriousness of the issue and the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent police to complete the investigation under the direct supervision of the first respondent and file a final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
