This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection for survey and fencing the petitioner's property in Survey No.441/7 with an extent of 97 cents situated in Ward D, Block No.24, T.S.No.22, Shenbaganur Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. Seeking police protection to survey and fencing, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 09.08.2016 to the respondents.

Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that the said representation is pending consideration.

5. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.
