ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking to quash the notice issued under Section 130 of BNSS on 03.02.2026.

2.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, he is running a travel agency and he is also the General Secretary of a political party. Even though the history sheet was opened in the year 2013, it has not been subjected to periodical review. For the fourth time, notices have been issued to the petitioner herein without following the judgment of this Court. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submits that no criminal case has been registered against him in the last five years. However, the issuance of notice under Section 130 of BNSS. The petitioner has given a representation in response to the impugned notice dated 03.02.2026. On 10.02.2026, he submitted the details regarding his activities. 4.Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the explanation submitted by the petitioner would be considered by the first respondent and orders will be passed. 2/4

5.Considering the aforesaid facts and the light of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the explanation offered by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the application within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
