O R D E R

The grandfather of the petitioner was originally owning 5.88 acres of land. Thereafter, there had been devolution by way of various encumbrances by the family members and now what remains is 28 cents. The petitioner had given a representation and also paid online, the amount required to measure the property. This was on 26.12.2022. The lands are now situated at Survey Nos.526/2, 526/1A2A1A and 526/1C at Sivakasi in Virudhunagar District.

2. A direction is given to the respondents 3 and 4 to examine the application of the petitioner herein and if an online application is 2/5

required, direct the petitioner to file an online application, but at any rate, taking into consideration the charges which had already been paid by the petitioner, pass necessary orders for measuring the lands which should take effect within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / fresh online application.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
