Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner is one of the Mandagapaditharar for conducting the petition mentioned festival. The petitioner wants to conduct "Veerapandiya Kattapommu" drama programme on 31.03.2018 during night.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that normally function would begin at 10.00pm., and go upto the early hours. He would give undertaking that there is no political or communal element in the event.

4. Therefore, I am of the view that the respondent can be directed to give permission to the writ petitioner as sought for. The petitioner has already submitted an application on 16.03.2019. The respondent is directed to pass orders permitting the petitioner to conduct the programme in question. It is ofcourse open to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent to incorporate appropriate conditions except in the matter of timings.
