This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for staging drama namely, Valli Thirumanam scheduled to be held on 01.06.2018 'Mahamayee' scheduled to be held on 02.06.2018 and 'Arichandra Mayana Kandam' scheduled to be held on 03.06.2018 at night in connection with 'Vaikasi Nataga Urchavam' in Arulmigu Sri Kamba Kamatchiamman Karuppasamy Thirukovil at Nadumuthalaikulam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 16.04.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Admittedly, the representation, dated 16.04.2018, has been submitted by the petitioner in his individual capacity and therefore, this Court cannot entertain this Writ Petition. Earlier, in W.P.(MD)No.7911 of 2018, dated 12.04.2018, this Court has clearly stated that the Trustees, any member of the Festival Committee or the Organisers of the Festival Committee alone is entitled to get permission to conduct the festival programme. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. However, if any representation is made either by a member of Vizha Kuzhu or the Trustee or the organization, the same shall be considered by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law.
