Respondents/Defendants PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the learned District Munsif, Melur Taluk, Madurai to expedite the proceedings in O.S.No.38 of 2012 pending on the file of the learned District Munsif, Melur Taluk, Madurai and to dispose of the same within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

Invoking the provisions of Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have approached this Court with this Civil Revision Petition, seeking a direction to the learned District https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Munsif, Melur Taluk, Madurai to dispose of O.S.No.38 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible preferably within the time, which may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.V.A.Dhana Aravindha Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the averments of the grounds of the Civil Revision Petition.

3. It appears that the revision petitioners herein, who are the plaintiffs, have filed a suit in O.S.No.38 of 2012 and the same has been unnecessarily and periodically adjourned without assigning any valid reason and therefore, the petitioners being the plaintiffs have approached this Court by way of this Civil Revision Petition.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the related facts and circumstances, this Court is of view that in the interest of Justice it may be expedient to issue a direction to the trial Court, as sought for by the petitioners. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. The learned District Munsif, Melur Taluk, Madurai, is hereby directed to dispose the suit in O.S.No.38 of 2012, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, without loss of further time. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
