According to the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation dated 17.04.2018 to the respondents to grant permission to conduct the Kabadi competition and to give adequate police protection in District level scheduled on 23.06.2018 at 10.00 p.m. and 24.06.2018 at 06.00 p.m. "Elampirai Kabadi Kuzhu" at Pulankudieruppu, Shenkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District. Since no order has been passed by the respondents, the petitioner filed this petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the said representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

3. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to

consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.04.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, on or before 20.06.2018.
