ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd and 3rd respondents not to harass the petitioner on the guise of the enquiry initiated by the second respondent by compelling the petitioner to undergo the demands of the 4th respondent/defacto complainant and not to conduct Katta Panchayat.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he has sold a property measuring 5.56 Acres to the tune of Rs.10,00,000/- to be received from the Defacto complainant. In order to escape from the said liability, the defacto complainant/fourth respondent herein has given a false complaint against the petitioner before the second and third respondents, stating that he is not co-operating for the purpose of selling the property for a sum of Rs.63,00,000/-. CRL.O.P(MD).No.4741 of 2021 petitioner. Hence, the present petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, enquiry was undertaken and both the parties agreed and entered into a compromise. He would further submit that Current Paper enquiry which is undertaken in CM/688/2020 was closed by observing that it is a purely civil dispute and no enquiry is pending against this petitioner as on date.
5. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further consideration in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
