PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation from the file of the third respondent to second respondent in connection with the case in Crime No.149 of 2015 on the file of the third respondent.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.149 of 2015 from the file of the third respondent to the file of the second respondent.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned

Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation with regard to the case in Crime No.149 of 2015 has been completed and a negative final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thoothukudi as "action dropped".

4. Since the investigation in this case has been completed and final report has been filed before the concerned Magistrate, the prayer as such sought for by the petitioner in this petition cannot be granted at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, if the petitioner has any grievance, it is always open to him to initiate appropriate proceedings to redress the same in the manner known to law.
