PRAYER:Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondents from constructing the new bus stand at Salaigramam Village in the existing 19 cents in Survey No.810/11, Salaigramam Village, Ilayankudi Taluk, Sivagangai District. (Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) Heard Mr.T.Cibi Chakraborthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader for the respondents. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that in the petitioner village, the bus stand is constructed in 19 cents. Since there is a traffic congestion, the Panchayat decided to built a new bus stand in the same extent. However, it has decided to construct commercial shops inside the bus stand. According to the petitioner, the construction of commercial shops will lead to severe congestion and confusion in the bus stand. Hence, the petitioner made a detailed representation. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition.

3.On perusing the entire affidavit and after hearing the submissions made by the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the contentions raised by the petitioner in this writ petition are general in nature and not supported by any materials. Therefore, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
