This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case, based on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 17.08.2016 and investigate the same in accordance with law. 2.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that suo-motu F.I.R has been registered even before receiving complaint from the petitioner, in Crime No.1134 of 2016 for the offence under Section 4(a) of TNOPPA Act.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
