The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking a direction to the Inspector of Police, B6 Jaihindpuram Police Station, Madurai City to accord adequate Police Protection to the life and limb of the petitioner based on his complaint dated 18.01.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that the alleged occurrence took place at Kovalan Nagar, which does not come under the jurisdiction of the second respondent police and it is only come under Subramaniapuram police station.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint according to law.
