: Contemnors/Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for the willful and deliberate disobedience to the orders of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.141 of 2020, dated 06.01.2020.

Prayer in WP(MD). 141/ 2020 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Directing the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum for the period of delay from 1.4.2018 to 2.11.2018, in paying the amounts padi towards the terminal and pension benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees Contribution, Encashment of Earned/Sick Leaves and commutated value of pension within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honourable court For Petitioner : Mr.S.Arunachalam For Respondents : Mr.J.Senthil Kumaraiah *****

ORDER

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.141 of 2020, dated 06.01.2020, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

Cont.P.(MD)No.498 of 2021 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Counsel on either side that the order of this Court has been complied with. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission and the endorsement so made, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the calculation arrived upon by the respondents, if so advised.
