This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.260 of 2011 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that the case was closed, as mistake of fact after preliminary enquiry and he produced a copy of the intimation furnished to the petitioner. From the copy, it is also evident that the petitioner's wife has received the copy of the information and he further produced an acknowledgement signed by the Village Administrative Officer, to prove that the RC Notice No.11 of 2017 was affixed on the outdoor of the petitioner.

3. With the above observations, the Criminal Original petition is closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to file appropriate petition, if any and proceed further.
