Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court directing the respondent to pay interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum, for the period of delay from 01/05/2018 to 21/09/2019 in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of Earned / Sick Leaves For Petitioner :

ORDER

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 24.01.2020, made in W.P.(MD)No.1470 of 2020.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the interest amount payable to the petitioner was calculated and paid through ECS to the bank account of the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is disputing the calculation made by the respondent Corporation, as there is a huge difference.

4. If the petitioner is aggrieved the calculation made by the respondent corporation, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the same.

5. With the above observation, this Contempt Petition is closed.
