ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the trial Court for speedy disposal of the case in STC No.1221/2013 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, NO.II, Trichy to dispose the case on day today basis, pending in respect of proceeding under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, by relying upon the docket entries, which starts from 25.08.2014 to 21.06.2016, would submit that the evidence on both sides is over and the matter is pending only for hearing the arguments and passing orders thereon and that the respondent is taking unnecessary adjournments.

4. Under such circumstances, the Judicial Magistrate, No.II, Trichy is directed to dispose of STC No.1221 of 2013 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
