Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3 to implement the proceedings of the fourth respondent vide nr.K.f.No.423/c.ngh.(jp)/2017 dated 13.11.2018 as expeditiously as possible within the time frame fixed by this Court. O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side. By consent of both parties, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. It is not in doubt that the Writ petitioner is entitled to

claim the benefit under "Housing for All Scheme" a sum of Rs.2,10,000/- which is paid as subsidy to the eligible persons, who build a new house on their land or to repair the existing house. In this case, it appears that the Writ petitioner has been making claim under different schemes. That is not permissible. At this stage, the petitioner's counsel submitted that the Writ petitioner would confine her claim to the benefit under "Housing for All Scheme" alone.

3. The petitioner is directed to submit an affidavit in this regard before the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent on being satisfied with the eligibility requirements and other norms shall disburse the subsidy amount to the Writ petitioner without any delay. It is made clear that the fourth respondent will have to stick to the rules and procedures. The only direction that is given is to fast track the entire process. It is made clear that after the petitioner approach the fourth respondent, the entire process should be concluded within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.

4. The Writ petition stands disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
