...Contemnor/Respondents PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the contemnors/respondents for willfully disobeying and not complying with the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 05.12.2019 in W.P.(MD)No.25895 of 2019. Prayer in WP(MD). 25895/ 2019 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court directing the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum , for the period of delay from 01/04/2018 to 02/11/2019 in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal and pension benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of Earned / Sick leaves and Commutated Value of Pension within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court and without affecting his right to claim balance amount towards these benefits.

3. Recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the calculation made by the respondents, it is open to him to challenge the same before the appropriate forum.
