ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the fair and 1/4

decretal order dated 07.02.2026 passed in E.A. No. 51 of 2025 in E.A. No. 18 of 2025 in E.P. No. 152 of 2018 in O.S. No. 83 of 2016 on the file of the Additional District Court (Fast Track Court), Palani.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the petitioner was set ex parte on 23.02.2017 and thereafter filed an application in I.A. No. 2 of 2025 to condone the delay in filing the petition to set aside the ex parte order.

3. Considering the nature of the matter, this Court is of the view that the trial Court may be directed to dispose of I.A. No. 2 of 2025 expeditiously.

4. Accordingly, the trial Court is directed to dispose of I.A. No. 2 of 2025 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity to both parties. Till such disposal, there shall be an order of interim stay. Notice to the respondents is dispensed with for the limited purpose of this order. 2/4

5. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
