RESPONDENTS/RESPONDENTS/RESPONDENTS Prayer in CRP(PD)(MD) No.2797 of 2015:- Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking direction dispose the E.P.No.69 of 2014 on the file of the Additional District Munsif, Madurai in R.C.O.P.No.18 of 2013 on the file of the Principal District Munsif, (Principal Rent Controller), Madurai Town within stipulated time fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER : This Civil Revision petition is coming on for orders on this day upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN, Advocate for the petitioner, the Court made the following order:- The matter has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time'.

2.This Court by order dated 05.01.2016 in the CRP, has directed the learned Additional District Munsif, Madurai, to dispose of E.P.No.69 of 2014 in RCOP.No.18/2013 within two months. Again, on the request of the learned Judge, by order dated 10.06.2016, four months were granted.

3.Now, the learned Additional District Munsif vide letter dated 09.10.2017 has requested extension of time stating that at the time of receiving the official memorandum dated 10.06.2016, granting extension of time for four months, the stage of the case in E.P.No.69/2014 was that E.A.No.35/2016 petition filed under Section 47 CPC was pending for further PWs. The EP was posted on various dates and ultimately, on 10.10.2017 for arguments. Almost two months have elapsed and now four months time is requested. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.It is unfortunate that even after posting the case for arguments on 10.10.2017, after two months, extension of time is sought for. Hence, the learned Additional District Munsif, Madurai, is directed to take up the matter very seriously and to dispose of the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order as the matter is posted for arguments.
