ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse all the terminal benefits including pension, leave encashment, gratuity , commutation and all other benefits.
2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel who takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed in the respondent's bank on 25.08.1989 in a clerical cadre. He retired on 31.12.2018 on attaining the age of superannuation. However, the respondent has not disbursed any terminal benefits to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner is approached this Court seeking the above said direction.
4. Considering the nature of the relief as sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner seeking terminal benefits, if there are no other legal impediments https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
