PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 135/2022 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.06.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 22(C) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 r/w Sections 20 and 30 of Arms Act, 1959 in Crime No.135 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that based on secret information on 05.06.2022 at about 11.00 a.m., the respondent police conducted surveilance and at that time, they saw a person throwing something in the thorn bush and ran away. The police caught the petitioner and found that the petitioner was found in possession of 1kg of drug tablets and a iron sword and on seeing he had thrown the contraband inside the thorny bush, hence, the case. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.4886 of 2023 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 4.This Court had already dismissed the anticipatory bail application in Crl.O.P(MD).No.23302 of 2022, dated 13.02.2023. Since there is no change in circumstance, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
