ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary action on the basis of petitioner's representation, dated 28.06.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, there is a matrimonial dispute pending between the petitioner and his wife. The petitioner lodged a complaint to the second respondent, dated 28.06.2024 to take necessary action against his wife and others for forging of his signature in the cheque and to recover the jewels from them, but no action was taken. Again he gave a complaint on 07.07.2024 before the first respondent but no action was taken by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner filed this petition to take necessary action against the representation of the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there is a family dispute pending between the petitioner and his wife and thereby, he already lodged a complaint against one Bilbin Shayjith and FIR in Crime No.180 of 2024 was 2/5

registered and the same was under investigation. While so, the petitioner again sent a representation, dated 28.06.2024 as against his wife and others and the same is under enquiry. They will complete the enquiry within one week.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition and recording the above said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.06.2024 within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order in accordance with law on merits.

5. With the above said observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 07.03.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes BTR 3/5
