ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) The writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to remove the encroachments made in Survey Nos. 1841/1 and 1841/2, Ayyalur Village, Kongaiyur, Vedasandhur Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2025 as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.
2. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The petitioner is a resident of Ayalur Village, wherein, since encroachments were made, he has filed a writ petition in WP(MD) No. 2503/2024 and this Court on 07.02.2025 had disposed of the said writ 2/5
petition by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner. Pursuant to the said order, the respondents had inspected the spot and taken action. However, after the said inspection and action, once again, encroachments were made in the aforesaid survey numbers. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation on 30.01.2025 to the respondents to take action. Since the said representation was not considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.
4. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
5. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that survey has been started and if there is any encroachments, the respondents will remove the same.
6. Considering the said submission, the respondents shall conclude the said proceedings within a period of eight weeks from the date of 3/5
receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
