Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conclude the enquiry initiated under the proceeding dated 22.09.2021 in Na.Ka.A1/6239/2021 within the time stipulated by this Court by considering the representations of the petitioner dated 15.12.2021 and 01.02.2022.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for early disposal of the proceedings pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. The petitioner has sought for cancellation of the patta issued in the name of the third and fourth respondents and the said proceedings is pending on the file of the first respondent. The petitioner seeks early disposal of the said proceedings.

3. Heard Mr.J.Anandkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if final orders are passed by the first respondent in the said proceedings within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 as well as any other necessary party, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire.

5. Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders in the proceedings dated 22.09.2021 in Na.Ka.No.A1/6239/2021 within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 as well as any other necessary party, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
