ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry.

2.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would contend that father of the petitioner (fourth respondent) lodged a complaint with the third respondent against the present petitioner and the same was registered in C.No.74/CAMP-PG/COP-MC/2021 and posted for enquiry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4755 of 2021 3.Since the fourth respondent is a senior citizen aged about 76 years, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the petition, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of this order, keeping in mind the law set out in Section 21 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and the guidelines issued in the decision in D.K.Basu Vs. State of West Bengal reported in AIR (1997) SC 610.

4.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
