ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to provide effective police protection for erection of transmission call phone tower and to install the telecommunication electrical and electronics equipments, OFC cable and the maintenance work on the said BTS Transmission Tower at Survey No.567/3 (Old Survey No.1076) Durgai Amman Koil Near, Ayya Koil, North Kundal, Kanyakumari District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the

petitioner seeks protection from certain local residents for erecting cell phone tower in a private land, for which he has obtained lease.

4. The learned Government Advocate concurred with the said statement and submitted that if requires necessary protection would be given. She also submitted that the representation / complaint of preferred by the petitioner is pending with the respondent police.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is now directed to cause such necessary enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner and take such appropriate decision as may be necessary to secure the rights, if any, of the petitioner.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
