The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order dated 20.02.2024 passed by the respondent No.1 and quash the same as illegal and subsequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate ground with all consequential benefits.
2. Heard Mr.B.Raghunatha Sethupathy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. In the impugned order it is stated that earlier the petitioner's brother had filed an application seeking compassionate appointment and that has been rejected on 12.09.2013 and the same has been intimated to Page No.2/4
the applicant. Once again the petitioner has filed a fresh application on 11.12.2023 after 10 years.
4. The son of the deceased employee filed an application seeking the compassionate appointment and got it rejected. The other members of the family cannot go on filing subsequent applications without challenging the earlier order of rejection and that too after several years. Hence, I find no merits in this writ petition.
