RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.3132 of 2021 dated 26/02/2021 and thus render justice. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.JOHN JOSEPH CHELLAKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.3132 of 2021, dated 26.02.2021. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner with a condition that the petitioner should deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- to the credit of Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. He further submitted that the petitioner is a widow and aged about 65 years. Hence, she is not able to mobilise the said amount. Therefore, he prayed for modification of the above said condition.

3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, the condition to take demand draft for a sum of Rs.25,000/- is deleted. All the other conditions made in the earlier order, dated 26.02.2021 shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.2814 of 2021 remain intact. Time for surrender by the petitioner before the concerned Court and executing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which the anticipatory bail already granted by this Court shall stand cancelled. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted. If the petitioner is not complied with the order within the stipulated period, the respondent police shall secure the petitioner.
