Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents Airport Authority of India, Trichy Airport, Trichy to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.02.2018 and 21.02.2018 and immediately settle the arrears amount of service tax of the Government of India to the petitioner to be paid to the Commissioner of Customs Trichirappalli in sum of Rs.37,810/- period from 16.06.2005 to 30.11.2006.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents Airport Authority of India, Trichy Airport, Trichy to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.02.2018 and 21.02.2018 and immediately settle the arrears amount of service tax of the Government of India to the petitioner to be paid to the Commissioner of Customs, Trichirappalli in sum of Rs.37,810/- period from 16.06.2005 to 30.11.2006.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent. There is no representation for the first respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the representations given by the petitioner, the petitioner would be satisfied.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 12.02.2018 and 21.02.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.(MD) No.8914 of 2018 is closed.
