O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent herein to grant permission to conduct the "Aadalum Padalum" dance Programmes on 28.05.2018 and 29.05.2018 in pursuant to the "Vaikasi Visaka Festival" of Arulmigu Sree Kathalivaneswarar Thirukoil, situated at Pallathur Village, Pattukkottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2018.

2.Heard Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the event in question. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate conditions as he deems it fit to ensure the law and order and peaceful conduct of the event. It is made clear that the "Adalpadal" programme shall not extend beyond 10.00 p.m.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
