ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner/A1, who was arrested on 05.08.2016 for offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406 and 506(i) I.P.C. r/w Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act in Cr.No.22 of 2016 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and his parents harassed the defacto complainant demanding more dowry.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner and his parents harassed the defacto complainant.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner has been in custody from 05.08.2016, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on him executing a bond in a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur, Dindigul District and on condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required.
