This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint, dated 13.06.2016 and to investigate the same in accordance with law. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the dispute between the petitioner and the rival party was settled amicably before the Mediation Centre, attached to this Bench and he has also made an endorsement to that effect, which reads as follows:- "The dispute arose between the petitioner and the rival party was settled amicably before the Mediation Centre, Madurai High Court Bench. In view of the same, this CrlOP may be disposed by recording the settlement agreed between the parties".
