This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2016. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that based on the complaint given by the third respondent, enquiry has been conducted and the petitioner himself appeared for the enquiry and submitted that both the petitioner and the complainant have settled the dispute between themselves and action need not be taken against him. He would further submit that earlier the petitioner has given a complaint against the third respondent and it was also enquired into, wherein the petitioner himself appeared and gave a statement to the second respondent Police that not to proceed with the complaint and based on the same, the complaint given by the petitioner also closed.
