ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / sole accused, who was arrested on 04.06.2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 22 (c) of the NDPS Act in Crime No.361 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 550 grams of DIAZEPAM.
3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and the petitioner is in judicial custody from 04.06.2016
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that this is a case of commercial quantity.
5. Taking note of the serious offence said to have been committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
