ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to disburse retirement benefits and all other attendant benefits to the petitioner, by considering his representation, dated 16.08.2018 within the time limit fixed by this Court.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Balasubramanian, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was working as a Driver in the respondent Corporation and he retired from service on 31.05.2018. Seeking retirement benefits and all other attendant benefits, the petitioner made a representation, dated 16.08.2018 to the respondent and the same is pending without consideration. Hence the petitioner is before this Court seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits.
5.In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.08.2018 seeking to disburse retirement benefits and other attendant benefits and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
